In 2023, the closure of their long-standing host theatre forced the Edmonton International Film Festival to screen more than 100 films at multiple venues throughout the city—making this edition of the annual event the ultimate movie marathon for film lovers. We then took the idea a step further by partnering with the Edmonton Marathon to reach new audiences.
